Dr. Doris Trauner and her colleagues are beginning a study of brain development and cognitive and learning abilities in children with cystinosis. We are particularly interested in testing children between the ages of 3-6 years, and between the ages of 10-18 years. For the older children and teenagers, we are particularly looking for individuals who have had a previous MRI scan. We will pay for your transportation and hotel costs to come to San Diego for these studies, and will pay your child for his/her participation.
