This month’s charity is “Cystinosis Research Network” which is a rare disease that primarily affects children. Without specific treatment, children with Cystinosis can develop end stage kidney failure at approximately age nine. The vision of the Cystinosis Research Network is the discovery of improved treatments and ultimately a cure for Cystinosis.
Carl Schleuder’s son Steven has this rare disease…please open the attachments above to read more about this disease.
The money raised will go to our monthly charities and the company will match all contributions, making our gifts to charity that much greater.
When you participate in wearing jeans each Friday please be sure to make a contribution of at least $1.00 each week by giving donations to Karen Anderson, Pat Garner, Janice Simpson, or Lori Ibarra.
A check will be mailed at the end of each month to the designated charity.
As always, thank you for your support each week.
