Towsley Foundation Awards Matching Grant to CRN

CRN is pleased to announce that The Harry A. and Margaret D. Towsley Foundation has awarded a matching grant of up to $150,000 to the Cystinosis Research Network. The grant will be paid over a three year period starting in 2007 and will support CRN's recently established Cystinosis Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health under the supervision of Dr. Bill Gahl.

Many thanks to John Shepperd for securing this funding for one of the most important initiatives CRN has ever undertaken, the recruitment and training of a cystinosis researcher and clinician for the future.
